Damascus, April 27 (SANA) Syria’s Interior Minister Anas Khattab said in talks with a United Nations delegation in Damascus that the government is continuing efforts to reinforce security and stability across the country.
During the meeting, held at the Interior Ministry, the minister briefed the visiting delegation, headed by Claudio Cordone, Deputy Special Envoy for Syria, on recent security developments and the government’s broader strategy to strengthen stability.
Discussions focused particularly on northeastern regions, where authorities are implementing integration measures as part of wider efforts to consolidate national cohesion and restore government institutions.
The meeting is part of ongoing coordination among state institutions and the UN to support efforts to maintain public order and national security.
