Damascus, April 17 (SANA) Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have congratulated President Ahmad al-Sharaa on the 80th anniversary of Syria’s Independence Day.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), both leaders expressed their sincere congratulations and best wishes for the president’s continued health and happiness, as well as lasting security and stability for the government and people of Syria.
Syria marks Independence Day on April 17 each year, commemorating the departure of the last French soldier in 1946, ending the French occupation that began in 1920.
