Quneitra, April 9 (SANA) An Israeli occupation force carried out an incursion into the village of al-Ejref in the Quneitra countryside on Thursday.
SANA’s reporter in Quneitra said the force consisted of eight military vehicles and more than 30 personnel. They established a temporary checkpoint and searched passersby before withdrawing.
Israeli occupation forces carried out similar incursions on Wednesday in the towns of Ruwaihina and Jbata al-Khashab, as well as in the villages of Ain al-Bayda, Tranja and Ain al-Nouriya in the northern Quneitra countryside.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria and attacks against civilians, including raids, arrests and land bulldozing.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stating that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void under international law. It also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and ensure a full withdrawal.
