Quneitra, April 6 (SANA) – Israeli occupation forces entered the villages of Eastern Samdaniyah and al-Ejref in the Quneitra countryside on Monday, according to a SANA correspondent.

The correspondent reported that a force consisting of several military vehicles entered Eastern Samdaniyah village and set up a checkpoint at the village entrance.

At the same time, another Israeli force entered al-Ejref village, established a temporary checkpoint and searched passers-by before withdrawing from the area. No arrests were reported.

In a separate incident, Israeli occupation forces fired an artillery shell from the occupied Golan toward Tal al-Ahmar al-Sharqi in southern Quneitra countryside. No injuries were reported.

Earlier in the day, another Israeli force entered the area between the villages of Ruwaihina and Zubaydah al-Gharbiyah in southern Quneitra countryside and set up a temporary checkpoint on the road linking the two villages before withdrawing.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria and attacks against civilians, including raids, arrests and land bulldozing operations.
