Memo of Understanding between Damascus and Jordan’s Ajloun universities

Damascus, April 9 ( SANA)– University of Damascus has signed a memorandum of understanding with  Jordan’s Ajloun National University  to strengthen and develop scientific, academic, and research cooperation between the two sides.

The agreement was signed by Damascus University President, Dr. Mustafa Saem Aldahr, and Dr. Feras Hanandeh, President of Ajloun University. It seeks to support student and academic exchange based on equality and mutual benefit, contributing to the advancement of education and research.

Under the memorandum, both parties will cooperate within their available capacities in exchanging faculty members, researchers, and students for the purposes of teaching, scientific research, and academic program development.

The memorandum also stipulates that both parties commit to protecting intellectual property rights in accordance with the laws in force in both countries and the applicable agreements between them.

The agreement enters into force from the date of signing and remains valid for five years, automatically renewable for a similar period by mutual consent, unless one party notifies the other in writing through diplomatic channels of its intention to terminate it at least six months prior to its expiration.

Ajloun National University is a licensed and internationally recognized Jordanian university, established in 2008 and located in Ajloun Governorate in northern Jordan. It provides a safe learning environment, competitive tuition fees, and holds international accreditation certifications (ISO).
