Amman, April 7 (SANA) Jordanian Prime Minister Jafar Hassan stressed the importance of activating cooperation agreements signed on Tuesday with Syria and Türkiye, and establishing clear mechanisms to implement joint projects and exchange expertise in transport sectors to serve shared economic interests.
According to Jordan news agency (Petra), Hassan received Syrian Transport Minister Yarub Badr and Turkish Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, in the presence of Jordanian Transport Minister Nidal al-Qatamin.
Earlier, the three transport ministers held a trilateral meeting during which agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed to strengthen cooperation in land, rail, air and maritime transport. The agreements aim to support regional connectivity, facilitate the movement of passengers and goods, and improve logistics services and infrastructure.
Implementation of the agreements is set to begin immediately and will continue for three years, during which progress and outcomes will be evaluated.
