Syria, March. 29 (SANA) Syria’s civil defence teams responded to multiple traffic accidents and fires across the country over the past 24 hours, resulting in 18 injuries.
Nine traffic accidents on Saturday left 15 people injured. They received first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital. Civil defence crews secured the accident sites and cleared debris.
Teams also tackled 20 fires, including 14 in homes and shops, as well as six in other locations, which caused three cases of temporary smoke inhalation. Most incidents resulted in material damage only.

Authorities urged drivers to reduce speed, particularly on bends and slopes, ensure their vehicles are roadworthy, and avoid distractions while driving.
