Quneitra, March 28 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces moved into al-Rafid village in Syria’s southern Quneitra province on Saturday and briefly detained five civilians.
According to SANA’s reporter in Quneitra, two Israeli military vehicles carrying roughly 20 personnel entered the area, where troops detained five young men. The individuals were questioned at the scene and later released.
The incident is part of ongoing Israeli violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, including repeated raids, detentions, and the bulldozing of land.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect under international law. The government has also urged the international community to assume its responsibilities and halt such practices.
