Raqqa, Mar. 18 (SANA) Residents of Raqqa marked the 15th anniversary of the Syrian revolution on Wednesday with a public celebration held at the municipal stadium.
Raqqa Governor Abdulrahman Salama said the province is moving forward with reconstruction and recovery efforts, working to strengthen stability in recognition of the sacrifices made during the years of conflict.
He noted that the people of Raqqa endured difficult conditions and showed resilience throughout the years, describing the anniversary as an opportunity to renew commitment to building a better future for Syria.

Salama stressed that the current phase requires unity among Syrians to overcome past challenges and advance reconstruction efforts, emphasizing that national interest should remain a priority.
He added that ongoing efforts focus on translating aspirations into tangible progress in areas such as education, services, and economic activity to support long-term stability.
The governor concluded by affirming that Syria can recover through collective efforts, calling for cooperation to build a more secure and stable future.
Similar events were held in other Syrian provinces to mark the anniversary of the revolution, which culminated with victory and liberation on December 8, 2024.
