Damascus, March 18 (SANA)   Director of the Consular Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mohammad al-Omar, held talks on Wednesday with the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Damascus, Sufian al-Qudah, on ways to enhance consular services and facilitate the movement of travellers between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides addressed legal obstacles that affect the continuity of residency permits for Syrians living in Jordan when they visit their home country.

Both parties underscored the importance of maintaining coordination to ensure smooth procedures and better services for citizens.
