Aleppo, March 14 (SANA) Three people, including two children, were killed and eight others injured Friday evening in a blast at a site containing mines and war remnants in al‑Atarib, western Aleppo countryside.
The Syrian Civil Defense said its teams responded to the explosion, extinguished ensuing fires, and retrieved the victims, while rescue and search operations continue for a missing person under the rubble of a collapsed home.
Internal security forces have been deployed to the site of the explosion in the city of al-Atarib in western Aleppo countryside to secure the area and ensure the safety of civilians.
Engineering teams have been deployed in the area to ensure it is cleared of any other hazardous remnants.
