Idlib, March 10 (SANA) Syria’s health minister on Monday inaugurated five health centers in towns across the countryside of Idlib province, the health ministry said.
Health Minister Musab al-Ali and Idlib Governor Mohammad Abdul Rahman opened the centers during a visit to the province, according to a statement posted on the ministry’s Telegram channel.
The new facilities are located in the towns of Afes, Maaret Debsa, al-Tah, Ma’saran and Heish, and aim to expand access to primary healthcare services across the area, the statement said.
Earlier in the day, al-Ali also opened a kidney dialysis center in the city of Maaret al-Numan in southern Idlib province as part of efforts to improve medical services and support patients with kidney disease.
The project is also intended to ease financial pressures on displaced residents by deposed regime in the region, the ministry said.
