Damascus, Mar. 4 (SANA) Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar met with Hungarian Chargé d’Affaires Soós István Gyula on Wednesday at the Ministry’s headquarters to discuss ways to enhance bilateral economic cooperation.
During the talks, both sides explored the possibility of establishing a joint Syrian-Hungarian Business Council, aimed at strengthening trade and investment ties and opening direct communication channels between the business communities of both countries.
Discussions focused on opportunities in the agricultural, industrial, and manufacturing sectors, as well as on exchanging expertise and technology to support mutual economic development.
The meeting reflects the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to expand economic partnerships with friendly nations, boost Syria’s national economy, and open new markets for Syrian products.
