Quneitra, Feb. 17 (SANA) Israeli forces detained a Syrian man on Tuesday during a raid on the village of Saida al-Golan in the southern countryside of Quneitra, southwestern Syria.
SANA’s correspondent in the province said an Israeli force comprising more than ten military vehicles entered the village and detained the man after raiding his home.
Another Israeli force, consisting of two Humvees, also entered the southern countryside of the province, setting up a checkpoint before later withdrawing from the area.
On Monday, Israeli forces detained two young men in the village of Ghadeer al-Bustan in Quneitra countryside.
Israel continues to carry out violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through further incursions into southern Syrian territory.
Syria has reiterated its demand for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, stating that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void.
