Damascus, Feb. 11 (SANA) Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Mohammad Abu Al-Kheir Shukri met on Wednesday with a delegation of scholars and preachers from Belgium and France to discuss religious outreach in Europe.
During the meeting, Minister Shukri affirmed that Syria’s doors are open to all preachers and Islamic centers worldwide, welcoming every effort that contributes to spreading values of moderation and strengthening a conscious religious discourse.
The delegation invited Minister Shukri to visit Islamic centers in Europe to strengthen ties and exchange expertise.
The meeting reflects Syria’s efforts to expand cooperation with international Islamic institutions.
