Israeli occupation forces detain student, two young men in Quneitra countryside

Quneitra, Feb. 4 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday detained a student and two young shepherds in the southern countryside of Quneitra, before releasing them several hours later.

SANA reporter said Israeli occupation troops arrested a primary education student while he was returning home from school on the road between al-Asbah village and Kudna town, in a gross violation of children’s right to safe education. Another patrol detained two young men while they were grazing livestock near Tal al-Ahmar al-Gharbi, and later released them.

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces infiltrated several villages in the southern and northern Quneitra countryside and set up temporary checkpoints.

“Israel” continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions, arrests and land destruction in southern Syria. Syria has reiterated its demand for the complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, stressing that all occupation measures are illegal and void under international law and have no legal impact.
