Damascus, Dec. 28 (SANA) The monthly “Made in Syria” shopping festival in Ma’raba, Damascus countryside, is giving residents a chance to purchase local products at discounted prices. The event features a wide range of items for families, including food, clothing, shoes, household appliances, and cleaning products, with discounts ranging from 20% to 35%.

Hasan Ammouna, head of Ma’raba City Council, said the festival, which opened on December 21 and runs through December 31, meets the needs of families and supports citizens’ purchasing power.

Festival organizer Mohammad al-Omar highlighted that participating companies are offering products directly from the factory to consumers with reduced prices and special promotions, helping to ease the financial burden on households amid current economic challenges.

The festival is open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., providing families with the opportunity to explore a variety of local products and take advantage of the discounts.
