Donations to the “For Binnish” raise funding campaign, launched in the town of Binnish in eastern Idleb on Friday, have surpassed $4 million, with broad participation from residents, community groups, and official bodies.
The initiative aims to support infrastructure development and rehabilitate public facilities destroyed by the deposed Assad regime’s bombardment.
Speaking to SANA, campaign organizer Sari al-Sayyid explained that the effort seeks to restore the town, which has endured years of systematic destruction of homes and infrastructure.
He emphasized that the campaign relies on the generosity of donors who have consistently stood by their homeland.
“Today, we are here in the glorious Binnish, standing for its people, this campaign reflects the spirit of unity between the government and the community to rebuild and provide services. Just as the town was liberated by its sons, it will be rebuilt by their determination. the timng of this campaign alongside the anniversary of the Battle of deterrence of aggression is truly significant,” Idleb Governor, Mohammad Abdul Rahman, added.
