Investigation Committee into Sweida incidents to hold press conference tomorrow

Investigation Committee into Sweida incidents to hold press conference tomorrow

Official spokesperson for the National Investigation Committee into Sweida incidents, Lawyer Ammar Ezzedin, said the committee will hold a press conference tomorrow at 4 p.m. at the Ministry of Information HQ in Damascus, to present the latest findings reached in recent months.

Ezzedin added on Saturday that the conference will include a brief overview of the committee’s methodology and the steps it has taken over the past three months, in accordance with legal and national standards.

The conference will also outline upcoming steps and address journalists’ questions within a framework of openness and transparency.

The spokesperson noted that the committee operates with full independence under its legal mandate, and its primary objective is to uncover the truth, ensure accountability, and uphold the rights of the victims and their families contributing to strengthening public confidence in the integrity of the procedures and the seriousness of the investigation.
