Ministry of Interior announced on Friday that the Anti-Narcotics Department in Idleb arrested individuals involved in drug trafficking following close monitoring.
The ministry said in a statement on its Telegram channel that the Anti-Narcotics Department seized approximately 143,000 illicit pills, including various types of medications and painkillers that were being misused and illegally distributed.
Investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend additional suspects linked to the case.
The ministry confirmed that the confiscated items have been secured, and the detainees have been referred to the competent judicial authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
