Mohammad Baraa Shukri, Director of Europe Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Friday that following the revolution victory, Syria looks forward to development and peace, warning that some parties continue to violate Syrian sovereignty and ignore international resolutions.
Shukri added during a political dialogue session at the meetings of senior officials of the member states of the “Union for the Mediterranean”, that Syria is ready to engage in efforts to reform the Union and enhance collective coordination, noting the importance of developing working mechanisms and unifying visions on collective security in the Mediterranean.

Shukri called for supporting development projects dedicated to Syria and enhancing direct communication between the Syrian side and the General Secretariat of the Union
