Al-Mustafa, UK envoy discuss media cooperation

Damascus, Jan. 12 (SANA) Minister of Information Hamza al-Mustafa conferred with the UK Special Representative for Syria, Ann Snow, and the accompanying delegation on Monday to review prospects for cooperation in the media sector.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Mustafa outlined the Ministry’s vision for regulating and developing the media sector in Syria.

Al-Mustafa pointed to the challenges imposed by the past years and their repercussions on Syrian society, while the two sides also exchanged views on avenues for international cooperation and the importance of benefiting from global media experiences.
