Idleb Governorate Announces Launch of “Loyalty to Idleb” Campaign

Idleb, SANA-Idleb Governorate announced the launch of the “Loyalty to Idleb” campaign on the 26th of September, aiming to mobilize the efforts of benefactors and supporters to restore essential services in the destroyed areas of the governorate.

Idleb Governor, Mohammad Abdul Rahman, stated on Saturday that the campaign “includes rehabilitating educational schools, medical centers and hospitals, removing rubble, preparing water and sewage stations, as well as restoring mosques and bakeries, maintaining and lighting roads, and rehabilitating public facilities.”

Abdul Rahman explained that these efforts come in response to the urgent need, as more than one million displaced people live in camps in the countryside of Idleb, suffering from extreme heat in summer and facing a harsh winter that threatens an escalating humanitarian crisis if urgent measures are not taken.

“We call on all entities and individuals to actively participate in this initiative, to be loyal to our people who have endured and suffered for many years, and to work together to create dignified conditions for their return to their villages and towns.” He added.
