RIYADH – Syrian Minister of Communications and Technology Abdel Salam Heikal met with Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha in Riyadh on Sunday to discuss progress in strategic tech partnerships between their respective countries.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the meeting addressed key initiatives in developing digital infrastructure, supporting innovation, and fostering entrepreneurship. The ministers also discussed policies to empower youth and position them at the heart of a dynamic digital economy that supports sustainable development and aligns with future aspirations.
The talks took place during Minister Heikal’s visit to the Saudi capital, where he is leading a high-level delegation to the Global Symposium for Regulators—an international forum hosted in Riyadh this week.
