Ankara, SANA-The Turkish Ministry of Defense confirmed that the recent Israeli attacks on Syria aim to destabilize the region.
Anadolu Agency quoted Ministry Spokesperson Colonel Zeki Aktürk as saying in a press briefing Thursday “The airstrikes carried out by Israel on Damascus following its attacks on southern Syria constitute a clear provocation targeting hopes for peace and stability in the region.”
Türk explained that “Israel has dragged the region into a state of instability and chaos,” calling on it to immediately halt its aggressive attempts, which could have irreversible consequences in the region.
