Damascus, SANA-Japan affirmed the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty and preserve its territorial integrity, in comments on the Israeli airstrike on Syrian territory.
The Japanese Embassy to Syria said in a post on the X platform today: “We call on all parties to preserve Syria’s territorial integrity and national unity and respect its independence and sovereignty.”
The embassy added: “The ceasefire must be adhered to, with priority given to protecting civilian lives.”
The Israeli occupation air force launched Wednesday a series of airstrikes targeting several areas in Syria, claiming the lives of many civilians and injuring dozens and damage to a number of public and private properties.
