Rome, SANA- The Italian ambassador to Syria, Stefano Ravagnan, condemned Sunday the terrorist attack that targeted Mar Elias Church in Duwayla, Damascus, which resulted in dozens of casualties and injuries.
“Italy strongly condemns the terrorist attack that targeted a church in Damascus today. The protection of religious freedoms and respect for human dignity must prevail over any form of intolerance and violence,”Ravagnan said in a post on the X platform.
The Italian ambassador stressed his country’s support for the Syrian people.
