Israeli occupation force carries out new incursion into Quneitra Countryside-Update

Quneitra, 3 Jan (SANA) An Israeli occupation force conducted a new incursion into the village of Ayn al-Qadi in southern Quneitra countryside through Abu Rajm crossing.

SANA reporter in Quneitra said that an occupation force consisting of five military vehicles, entered the village of Ayn al-Qadi and searched a house at 3:00 AM, without making any arrests.

Earlier, another Israeli military force carried out Saturday a new incursion into Syrian territory, advancing from the entrance of Beer Ajam southern Quneitra towards the village of Bariqa.

“The force consisted of eight vehicles — four Hilux pickups and four Humvees —moved into Bariqa at dawn. Local sources told the reporter that two Humvees and two Hilux vehicles went ahead towards old Bariqa without setting up checkpoints”, the reporter added.

Syria has condemned the repeated Israeli violations, in contrary to the 1974 Disengagement agreement.

Damascus has repeatedly called for the immediate withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian territory and urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in preventing such acts of aggression.
