Syria’s women U-20 football team to face Jordanian counterpart Sunday in West Asian Championship

Syria's women U-20 football team to face Jordanian counterpart Sunday in West Asian Championship

Amman, SANA- Syria’s women under-20 football team will play against the Jordanian team on Sunday at 7:00 PM at Aqaba Stadium, marking the opening match in the 5th West Asian Under-20 Championship.

The championship includes teams from Jordan, Palestine, Kuwait, and Syria.

The Syrian team is scheduled to play its second match against Kuwait next Tuesday at 4:00 PM. In the third and final match of the group stage, set for Thursday, the Syrian team will face Palestine at 4:00 PM.

The championship follows a single-round league system, where all teams compete against each other in the group stage.

Based on the final standings, the first-place team will face the second-place team in the final match, while the third-place team will play against the fourth-place team for third place. These matches will take place on the 12th of this month.
