Doha, Sept 5, 2026 (SANA) Qatar’s Al-Sadd signed Italian defender Alessio Romagnoli on a contract running through 2029, adding the experienced center-back to their squad ahead of the upcoming domestic and continental campaigns.
The 31-year-old brings extensive experience from Italy’s top flight, having played for Roma, Sampdoria, AC Milan and Lazio before making the move to Qatar.
Romagnoli has already begun training with Al-Sadd as the club prepares for the upcoming Qatar Stars League season and Asian competitions.
