Ankara, Dec. 10 (SANA) The Syrian national powerlifting team concluded Wednesday its participation in the Asian Powerlifting Championships 2025, held in Turkey, with a total of 61 medals.
The team secured four silver medals and one bronze medal on the final day of the competition. Syrian athlete Yasser Khairallah won four silver medals in the Masters 2 category across the three lifts and the total.
Meanwhile, athlete Jihad Al‑Saleh earned a bronze medal in the Masters 1 category, and the Syrian team claimed first place overall in the Masters division.
The team had won 12 medals on Tuesday, 21 medals on the third day of the championship, and 23 medals over the first two days.
