Damascus, Feb. 25 (SANA) Tishreen were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting al-Karama on Tuesday in Lattakia in the tenth round of the Premier Football League.
Tishreen opened the scoring through Sayyah Naim in the 60th minute, but al-Karama snatched a late equalizer through Mohammad Krouma in the fifth minute of stoppage time (90+5).
In another match of the same round, al-Hurriya defeated hosts Khan Shaykhun 2-1 at Idlib Municipal Stadium.
Al-Hurriya took the lead early with a goal from Omar Naanou in the 5th minute. The home side equalized through Baraa Diyar Bakrli in the 34th minute before Ali Khalil secured the winner in the 57th minute, earning his team three valuable points.
Elsewhere in the round, al-Ahli Aleppo defeated al-Shouleh 6-1, Al-Jaish beat Hutteen 2-1, Omayya overcame Damascus al-Ahli 2-1, Al-Fotuwa edged Jableh 1-0, and al-Taliya defeated al-Shorta 4-1.
