New York, Sep. 23 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Wednesday met European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.
The talks focused on developing relations between Syria and the European Union, expanding cooperation and supporting reconstruction and development efforts, as well as reaffirming respect for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, attended the meeting.
