Damascus, March 10 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa held a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The two leaders discussed the latest regional developments, focusing on the recent military escalation and its potential repercussions on the security and stability of the region.
Both Presidents underscored the urgent need to reduce tensions and halt further escalation to prevent the region from slipping into deeper instability. They stressed the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic solutions to address existing crises and safeguard the interests of all regional states.
The call also touched upon the strengthening of bilateral relations. Both leaders expressed a shared commitment to developing cooperation across various fields.
