Damascus, Feb. 24 (SANA) The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce discussed preparations for the International Exhibition NASTEX 2026, scheduled to be held under the patronage of President Ahmad al-Sharaa from April 1 to 4 at Damascus Fairgrounds.
During a meeting on Monday, participants reviewed mechanisms to enhance the exhibition’s presence, expand local and international participation, and activate communication with companies, in addition to supporting traders and industrialists to showcase their latest products and technologies.
They stressed the need to provide an integrated organizational environment to ensure the success of accompanying activities, including specialized workshops and seminars.
The federation highlighted the exhibition’s role in developing the textile sector, modernizing machinery and strengthening local expertise, noting that the event represents a national platform bringing together agriculture, industry and trade with wide participation.
NASTEX 2026 will showcase the latest sector products and innovations, including fabrics, furnishings, curtains, furniture, textile manufacturing machinery, yarns and raw materials, as well as digital transformation solutions and advanced industrial technologies.
A special section for entrepreneurship will allow young people to present innovations and small projects, while an integrated factory will offer visitors a practical look at production stages and modern operating techniques.
