President al-Sharaa receives congratulatory cable from the Jordanian King

President al-Sharaa receives congratulatory cable from the Jordanian King

Damascus, Dec. 8 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa received on Monday a congratulatory cable from Jordan’s King Abdullah II on the occasion of Liberation Day. In the message, the King expressed his hope that the Syrian people would achieve their aspirations for progress and prosperity.

In his cable, King Abdullah stated: “In my name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom, I extend my warmest congratulations and sincerest fraternal sentiments on this occasion. I pray to the Almighty to grant President al-Sharaa continued good health and to bless the Syrian people with the fulfillment of their aspirations for further progress and prosperity.”

Today, the Syrian people are celebrating the first anniversary of Syria’s liberation from the former regime, with millions gathering in city squares and towns to express their joy and hope for a bright future.
