Ankara, Sept. 10 (SANA) The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed deep sorrow over the casualties caused by an explosion at an ammunition depot in Idlib province.
In a statement posted on X on Wednesday, the ministry said it had received with deep sadness the news of the casualties resulting from the incident. It extended its condolences to the families of the victims and the Syrian people and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Syrian Ministry of Defense said an explosion occurred at a temporary storage facility for weapons and war remnants near the city of Sarmada in northern Idlib, killing 14 Ministry of Defense personnel and injuring more than 10 others, including civilians.
