Abu Dhabi, Sept. 4 (SANA) UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call on Friday with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to discuss the latest regional developments and efforts to end escalation, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations.
The two leaders stressed the need to intensify efforts to consolidate security and stability in the Middle East and push toward a path of sustainable peace serving the peoples and states of the region, according to WAM.
They also reviewed various areas of cooperation and joint work between the two countries and ways to develop them in line with their development priorities and shared interests.
The talks come amid ongoing tensions and crises in the Middle East, with growing regional and international calls for de-escalation, dialogue and diplomatic solutions to consolidate security and stability.
