Mecca, July 17 (SANA) The Muslim World League (MWL) on Thursday condemned continued Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan, expressing solidarity with the three countries and support for measures to safeguard their security and sovereignty.
In a statement posted on X, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa said the repeated attacks violate international law and humanitarian norms and pose a serious threat to regional security and stability.
Al-Issa reaffirmed the league’s full support for Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan in steps taken to protect their sovereignty, security and the safety of their citizens and residents.
The statement came after Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan announced earlier on Thursday that their air defense systems had intercepted Iranian attacks, as Tehran continued its military operations against countries in the region.
