Jordan extends condolences over victims of traffic accident in Syria

Amman, July 25 (SANA)– Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its condolences and sympathy to the Syrian Arab Republic over the victims of the traffic accident on Damascus-Deir Ezzor road which left dozens dead and injured.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Fouad al-Majali said in a statement posted by the ministry on X on Saturday that Jordan stands in full solidarity with the Syrian government and people in the wake of the tragedy.

He extended his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

Earlier on Saturday, 35 people were killed and 30 others injured in a traffic accident on Damascus-Deir Ezzor road.
