Damascus, May 17 (SANA) The Syrian Arab Republic condemned what it described as a terrorist attack targeting the United Arab Emirates with drones, according to a statement issued Sunday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
The ministry said one of the drones targeted a facility linked to nuclear energy, describing the incident as “a dangerous act” and “a flagrant violation of international law” that threatens regional security and stability.
Syria reaffirmed its support for the United Arab Emirates and stressed that attacks on civilian facilities, particularly those connected to peaceful nuclear energy, represent a serious escalation.
The ministry renewed Syria’s “full solidarity” with the United Arab Emirates, adding that the country’s security and stability form “an integral part of the security and stability of the region as a whole.”
