Syrian diplomats meet UAE Ambassador in Damascus- SANA-

Damascus, April 6 (SANA) A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, comprising Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Youssef Al-Hajar, and Director of the Arab Affairs Department, Mohammed Taha Al-Ahmad, visited the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Damascus and met with the UAE Ambassador to Syria, Hamad Rashid bin Alwan Al-Habsi.

The two Syrian diplomats emphasized the deep fraternal relations between Abu Dhabi and Damascus and rejected any attempts to incite discord. They also stressed that the relevant authorities are pursuing those involved in the attack on the UAE chancery in Damascus.

They added that this file is being closely monitored under the directives of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in a way that reflects the Ministry’s commitment to addressing the incident swiftly and ensuring it does not recur.
