Amman,  March 20 (SANA) Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned on Friday the Israeli attack that targeted military infrastructure in southern Syria, describing it as a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Ministry Spokesperson Fouad al-Majali reiterated Jordan’s absolute rejection and firm condemnation of the Israeli aggression, emphasizing the need to halt all Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, which he said constitute violations of the UN Charter and Israel’s obligations under the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.

Al-Majali reaffirmed Jordan’s solidarity with Syria, calling on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, compel Israel to stop its unlawful and provocative actions, end its occupation of Syrian land, and respect international law and relevant UN resolutions.

Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces carried out an attack on military infrastructure in southern Syria, continuing their repeated violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and attempts to create instability and tension in the region.
