Ankara, March 31 (SANA) Türkiye has denied claims it is joining the war alongside Iran or deploying troops to Lebanon, describing them as misleading and part of a psychological campaign.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Center for Combating Disinformation, affiliated with the Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, said in a statement: “Türkiye, under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is leading intensive diplomatic efforts to end the attacks as soon as possible, prevent escalation and achieve lasting peace.”

The Center said the campaign was aimed at damaging Türkiye’s image and undermining its constructive role in managing the crisis. It urged the public to rely on official statements and ignore unverified claims.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said last Saturday that Türkiye opposes any escalation that could widen the conflict, warning that the situation reflects chronic instability that threatens the region.
