Daraa, March 21 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces carried out a new incursion on Saturday into the outskirts of Wadi al-Ruqqad, located in the western countryside of Daraa.
According to a SANA reporter, an occupation force consisting of three military vehicles and a number of infantry units entered the area for more than thirty minutes. The infantry units reportedly entered through the Tel Abu al-Ghaithar gate, advancing toward the beginning of the Wadi al-Ruqqad road within the Yarmouk Basin region. Simultaneously, the military vehicles moved toward the Seil Abu Omar area.
This maneuver is the latest in a series of continuous Israeli aggressions and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. Such incursions into southern Syria frequently involve raids, arbitrary arrests of local citizens, and the bulldozing of agricultural lands.
The Syrian Arab Republic continues to demand the immediate withdrawal of all occupation forces from its territory. Damascus reaffirmed that all measures taken by the Israeli occupation in southern Syria are legally “null and void” and carry no legal weight under international law or United Nations resolutions.
