Damascus, March 7 (SANA) – Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met Turkey’s ambassador to Syria, Nuh Yilmaz, in Damascus on Saturday to discuss recent regional developments and bilateral cooperation, the ministry said.
According to a statement published on the Foreign Ministry’s Telegram channel, the two officials reviewed joint projects between Syria and Turkey in several vital sectors, including economic and trade cooperation.
Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and contributes to regional security and stability.
The meeting also addressed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
