Damascus, Feb. 28 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa held a phone call with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to discuss recent regional developments related to tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran and their impact on regional security and stability.
During the call, President al-Sharaa reaffirmed Syria’s support and solidarity with Qatar, stressing that Iranian attacks targeting Qatar and other Arab countries pose a serious threat to regional security.
He underscored the importance of Arab solidarity and reiterated Syria’s rejection of any violations of Arab states’ sovereignty or actions undermining their security and stability.
The Emir of Qatar expressed appreciation for Syria’s stance and praised the brotherly relations between the two countries.
