Damascus, Feb. 9 (SANA) Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani held a phone call on Monday with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah, Kuwait’s minister of foreign affairs, during which he congratulated him on assuming his new post.
According to a statement by the Syrian Foreign Ministry, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and supports joint Arab action in addressing current challenges.
Al-Shaibani expressed appreciation for the longstanding fraternal relations between Syria and Kuwait, the statement said.
