Ankara, Dec. 26 (SANA) Turkey strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a mosque in Homs on Friday, reaffirming its support and solidarity with Syria.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, “We condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Homs and extend our sincere condolences to the Syrian government and people.” The statement emphasized Turkey’s commitment to standing with Syria, which continues to strengthen its stability, security, and unity despite ongoing provocations.
Earlier Friday, eight people were killed and 18 others injured in the bombing at the Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque in Homs. Preliminary investigations indicated that explosive devices had been planted inside the mosque.
