Damascus, Dec. 26 (SANA) Canada’s Ambassador to Syria and Lebanon, Gregory Galligan, strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in Homs.
Ambassador Galligan stated on platform (X) on Friday: “Targeting civilians and places of worship is a reprehensible and unacceptable act,” expressing his country’s solidarity with the families of the victims and with all Syrians working to confront violence and extremism.
The terrorist bombing, which claimed the lives of eight people and injured 18 others, triggered a wide wave of Arab and international condemnations, with many countries reaffirming their solidarity with Syria and support for its measures to combat terrorism.
